David has been working with my son for only a few months now, but already has managed to help with the confidence he needed as he approaches his 11+ exam this year. The sessions with David are always focused, well planned and enjoyable. David had prepared and shared a lot of material with us upfront, covering the key and advanced concepts that they go through during the sessions. My son always looks forward to the sessions with David due to the positive tutor-tutee relationship that has been built, in a very short time. He also often finishes their session feeling motivated and smiling. Both his writing and reading comprehension skills have improved a lot. I am hugely grateful to David for the attention, amazing and positive attitude, and the feedback he is always sharing with my son, but also with me, keeping me in the loop, and less stressed about the exams. Unique teaching style, friendly, approachable, engaging, goes through great length supporting students in solving questions, sharing useful guidance around scoring, providing GCSE materials, useful recommendations shared during lessons around GCSE questionnaires, methodologies, techniques and takes lots of interest in explaining matters in detail to cover the topics in depth. Very professional, punctual, encouraging, motivating and assists with challenging questions, clarifies any difficulties in understanding with great care and enthusiasm. David has been working with my son to prepare for the 11+ and 13+ entrance exams. David is an excellent tutor - he is well prepared for each lesson, provides various materials for guidance and practice and has adapted the learning journey specifically for the schools my son will apply to. He is very proactive and responsive and communicates well, so we know how Jack is progressing at all times. Importantly my son enjoys the lessons. David makes it fun and engaging but equally he ensures my son is developing and taking on the learning he needs. If my son finds something challenging or overwhelming, David is very reassuring and supportive - helping him to break things down and developing his confidence to tackle these challenges. I recruited David very late in the school year to help my son with his English Language GCSE in virtual tutor sessions.
After an initial session, we had a detailed follow up session for David to outline his thoughts and expectations for (and from) my son.
In the weeks they have been working together, my son has grown in confidence with his English skills; he has enjoyed the learning and has been very complementary about David's methods.
I occasionally put me ear to the door and can attest to David's methods using contemporary analogies to get the point across whilst keeping my son engaged. I often heard laughter! David is recommended.

David has been tutoring my 12 year old for more than a couple of months now. David with his engaging lessons, great sense of humor and preparatory course material that is provided in advance has really helped my son with his confidence in English writing. His attention to detail whether it is a missing full stop, a spelling mistake or even upscaling a simple word to sound better, David brings these little but very important details to my son's attention every time he writes a piece, stirring him in the right direction. A good experienced tutor and would definitely recommend him.

David is a superb tutor, and I can't recommend him enough. He helped my daughter overcome her difficulties with English writing and made it much easier for her in a short time. He is proficient, and I like his way of teaching English. Although my daughter is a bit lazy and does not do her homework sometimes, he has been patient and developed her passion for English nicely. I am confident about my daughter's exams as she is in good hands. I am extremely grateful to David for his encouragement and continued enthusiasm in tutoring my daughter in English.
